Goals 2010

I liked the ring of 1/10/10 so i chose that as my new years eve, mostly because my birthday is right at the first of the year and always derails any grand changes. So in the spirit of my new year here is my laundry list of things I am working on this year.

Show marked improvement in muscle tone and strength.

Show marked improvement in overall weight and BMI.

Go to the gym a minimum of 3 days a week.

Bring my lunch to work at least 2 days a week.

Dub 2010 year of asian food.

Learn to make sushi and pad see yew.

Drink less beer.

Document more of the world around me through art, namely photography.

Become better at balancing my home, work, and play life.

Learn how to say no when I am in danger of overextending myself.

Do yoga at least 2 days a week

Stretch daily

Breathe better

Ride my bike daily.

Outfit my present bike as my commuter bike.

Acquire a road bike for training and long rides.

Attend a core fit class.

Attend camp gladiator.

Go back to school.

Consistently chart my progress on my blog.

Have better follow through.

Reconnect with music.

Document all of my reading for the year.

Run a 5K

Participate in one of the local charity rides.

Procure the proper gear.

Eat more local food.

Start swimming lessons.

Become more involved with homeschooling.

Strive to be more open about my feelings and fears with those close to me.

Learn about Hockey

Daily abs and lower back work

Become more involved with the local bike community.

Do an unassisted pullup

Enjoy having a clean and organized home

Train towards participating in the 2011 Triathlon season.

Strive to be better organized.

Learn to fix my own bike

Combat my pervasive laziness

Play fantasy football next season
